The following options can be integrated into any MCD hook block and may be combined with other features:

Load measurement device
With an accuracy of more than 0.5%, a load measurement device performs demanding measurement tasks cheaply and/or acts as a safeguard against overloading. A digital load display can be attached to the hook block. Other peripheral equipment such as a log printer, an optical or acoustic signaller etc. are available as an option. It is possible to fit this equipment at a later time without any change to the external dimensions and without placing any limitations on the motorised rotating of the hook.

Electrically insulated hook suspension components
In cases where the hook block may come into contact with parts or media that conduct electricity, all mechanical and electrical components must be insulated against high voltages or be manufactured from non-conductive materials. MCD does this without increasing the external dimensions and this is also possible when, for example, a calibratable weighing device is being used.

Impulse transmitter for position steering
The use of a rotary impulse transmitter, incremental or absolute, or a rotation potentiometer allows demanding positioning tasks to be carried out in a simple manner – without decreasing the functioning of the hook block. For positioning tasks it is also advisable to use our torsional vibration compensation by means of a freewheeling brake mechanism.

Battery drive with remote control
If you want to exchange a hook block without a rotary drive for a MCD hook block with rotary drive, without losing stroke height and without construction limitations or alterations to the crane, our special equipment with a battery-run drive and remote control is on offer. The battery can be charged during breaks in work or out of operating hours.

Integrated distribution ring body
For rotating attached load handling equipment with electrical input cable (e.g. electromechanically operated forceps) without limitations, our distribution ring unit should be used with the appropriate socket connection.
